Happy New Year!

Today marks the end of 2010. A year for us that is one we will never forget.

We started 2010 with a fresh start from all of our baggage of years prior. We wanted our marriage to work, we wanted to see it succeed and move on from it. And we have moved FAR away from all of it :)

This year, we celebrated 4 years of marriage, 7 years of being together, and 1 year in our beautiful home. We have cleaned, organized, and budgeted to keep our life as stress free as possible. We have cried over giving our dog up for adoption, laughed over silly things, frowned at the loss of jobs, smiled at how wonderful we have it. We have made small and large purchases like a new car, new 4 wheeler, and PLENTY of home decorations. Kurt has a new amazing job and I got promoted to supervisor.

2011 brings a year of new goals and ideas. We chose not to make resolutions, but rather life changes.

We want to be 100% debt free, minus our house. We want to travel to places we have not been. Hopefully New York in November, Mexico in January, Canada in the spring, and plenty of places in between. We want to save a specific amount of money before the year is over, which of course gives us less stress as well.

Most importantly we want to meet new people, experience new adventures, and live our life to the fullest.

Here is to an amazing 2010 and a better 2011! :)

God Bless
Kurt and Erica

Christmas Party

So, before I even get started, all of the pictures from our Christmas party are on the post before this. I was having difficulties loading them onto the same post! SORRY!

Anyways, Christmas is here, my favorite time of year. A time to celebrate, be with family, and remember all of the good times. I love celebrating the birth of Christ. It means a lot to me.

We have our house decorated, tree up, presents wrapped, shopping done, it is now time to relax and soak in the holidays. This year for Christmas we will spend Christmas Eve dinner with my mother. My good friend Melissa and neighbor of mine are going to Midnight Mass and then in the morning Kurt and I will enjoy each others companies. After wards, we will head up to his parents house to open more presents. Christmas is always so busy, but it doesn't stop us for remembering the reason for the season.

From our Hatch house to yours, we wish you all a very merry Christmas! :)

Happy December!

I cannot believe December is already here! Are you done Christmas shopping? I only have a few more people left to buy for! :)

We have a lot planned in December, one being our first ever Christmas Party next weekend. We are pretty excited about hosting our friends and family for an evening of fun :)

We celebrated Thanksgiving weekend at my brother Dan's house for lunch, it was nice to have my whole family in town and actually living here to celebrate. We then went up to Kurt's parents house for a delicious dinner as well.

Black Friday morning my sister and I started at midnight and continued until about 6:30 in the morning. We did not get much, but it was good to be able to have some quality time with her :)

Here is a picture we took at thanksgiving:

I will post some pictures next week of our holiday party! :)
