The office has begun!

Hi Everyone,

So last night, we decided to start our office transformation. I have been super excited about what we plan to do in the room.  Just a reminder, this is what we started with:

So first step, was to empty out the room, completely.

Then the next step was to rip out the carpet completely, since we will be doing hardwood floor in there

And that is how we started. I will be posting more, tomorrow about how we built my desk and painted the room!! It looks GREAT!

XOXO,

Erica

Anyways, we are looking  for some before and after-guest bloggers for our blog. We want to see what you have transformed from ugly to beautiful, from shab to chic, etc. We want to test the waters and see if this is something we want to do on a weekly, monthly, or even a one time thing!

So, if you have a before and after and would like to be a guest blogger for us, please send me an e-mail at radscents@yahoo.com. once again radscents at yahoo dot com. Please put in the subject line "Guest Blogger"

We look forward to seeing all of your fantastic projects!

A Quick Fix

Hi Everyone,

So as promised, I just wanted to show you a quick fix we did to our bathroom. After we were done, we both laughed about how we went so long without them before! Needless to say, we absolutely love our quick fix. We are going to do the same thing to our master bathroom, but we are on the fence about if we are going to paint the cabinets or not.

Here are the before shots, please keep in mind it is incredibly hard, if not impossible, to get a good photo of the bathroom:

On Black Friday, we were shopping through our local walmart when I stumbled across these bad boys:
At five bucks a pop, we couldn't beat it! It was originally $8! SCORE.

Bronco ALWAYS has to be apart of the action

Kurt started with the door handle, went in easily. The drawers, not so much. The screw wasn't long enough. After a few frustrations, he finally found a screw big enough to work!
The final result:

Bronco, once again, admiring Dad's work

Thanksgiving Recap

Hi Everyone!

I hope you enjoyed your long weekend! We had a blast, it was VERY relaxing, but WELL needed. We enjoyed the company of our family, lots of food, and lots of relaxations.

On Thursday, we started the day cleaning the house and scopping out the black friday ads. In the afternoon we went up to my Brother's house to have a feast, his wife, Jaime sure knows how to host a party. After we ate, we headed straight to Kurt's parents house for another feast. It was so nice to be with family. After that, we starting our shopping. Although nothing really was popping out to us in the ads, we enjoyed going and even picked up a new tv for our bedroom (Kurt's Christmas present early). I did not take a lot of pictures, but here are some of them, none the less!

My Brother and his wife

My silly hubby and silly niece

My cute sis and Kurt

Oh, Christmas Tree!

Hi Everyone!

So, last week, I talked about how Kurt was putting up Christmas lights. He takes such pride in his lights and each and every year he adds more to them. I love it! Christmas is by far my favorite time of the year.

I asked Kurt if we could put up the Christmas decorations early, so on Thanksgiving weekend we could do nothing but relax. He agreed, I was so excited. So on Sunday we spent the day putting up our decorations, and I forgot how tired it can make you feel, but it is complete and I love it all so much.

I love red and white, so our house is white and then we have red and white trees, red candy canes, and red going up the posts by the front door. Next year, I am hoping to get some stuff to put in the yard, like deers or snowmen!

This is our entertainment center. Sorry, the pictures are hard to get a good quality one.

Here is what it looks like with the lights off. So festive!

Kurt bought me my first ever sewing machine, more on that later. So the first thing I made was some Christmas pillows. I wish I would have videotaped Kurt and I making these. But I am so happy with how they turned out!

Our Christmas tree! I love it!

This is what it looks like with the lights on!
We also have a ledge up to in between the living room and kitchen. This is what it looks like with the lights on

Here is what it looks like with the lights off, I love it, it really sets a good mood in the house.

Well, there you have it! Our Christmas house! Have you decorated for Christmas yet?

XOXO,
Erica

Our 1st son

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Puppies vs. Babies for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Hi Everyone!
Let me first start off saying, we want a baby. If you have been reading our blog for a while or are new to it, you know we want a baby. That is why we started the adoption process. However, some of you might not know this, but we do have a child that we love with all of our hearts! He is a HUGE piece of our life. He enjoys the water like his dad and cooking in the kitchen with me, his mom. He loves to cuddle and can get very hyper at times. But he is ours and we absolutely love him. His name is Bronco, and you guessed it, he is a dog! A rottweiler to be exact! :)

We just love him to pieces and he fits so perfect in our family. He enjoys to travel, relax, and he has a personality like no other. Just recently, I heard about the Puppies vs. Babies online contest. I am so sad I missed the deadline to enter him, because I am sure he would have won! We always get compliments on his personality. Although he is a rottweiler, people tend to be scared of him, but he is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever owned or know.

I gave him to Kurt last year for Valentines day and it was one of the best things we have ever done. Its like having a best friend around 24/7... and he never talks back! ;)
Head on over to Puppies vs. Babies for your chance to vote for the cutest baby or puppy! And WOW, they are ALL so stinkin cute. Come back and tell me who you voted for!
